What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our website, you may provide us with two types of information: (1) Personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis, (2) Location information and (3) Generic website usage information collected on an aggregate basis.

1. Personal Information You Choose to Provide

When you register and pay for a subscription, you will provide us with your name, email address, mobile phone number, and credit card information.  We store and use your name and email only to communicate with you regarding your account and to provide marketing information for you.  You may choose not to accept our marketing communications and in that case your name and email will only be used to display your profile information and to send you email confirmation of interactions you make on the website regarding your account.  We need your mobile phone number to process a voucher.  We text a pin code to your registered mobile phone number to activate your voucher as a way of preventing fraudulent use of our website.  Your credit card information is sent to a reputable third-party Credit Card payment processing enterprise e.g. authorize.net. We neither collect nor maintain credit card information.

2. Location Information

You may find it useful to locate a merchant using one of the maps provided on our website.  If you need directions, they will be provided by the location services on your device.  In that event, our server will interact with your device and will need to know your present location.  Once the directions are provided, we no longer need this information and it will be deleted.  We neither maintain or share any location information with any third party.

3. Generic Information

Web server log files collect information about how our website is used.  We also use a standard technology called ‘cookies’.  A cookie is a very small text document which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. Our log files also collect IP addresses.  An IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer and communicate with it.  Log files and cookies collect information that may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, and the time spent on our website.  The log files allow us to analyze the traffic or usage of our website.  Cookies allow our website to interact with your device in a more efficient manner.  This information is used in aggregate and is never shared with any third party.

How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?

Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities; providing the products you requested; to process your payment; to monitor the use and success of the service and our marketing and promotional efforts; to improve our content and offerings; and improve the layout and look and feel of our website.  Personal identifiable information (PII) or business information will not be shared with any third parties except as required by law. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our website, new services, and special offers we think you will find valuable.
